  • 1 fountain pen stand with pens
  • 1 blotter
  • 1 letter opener
  • 1 letter box full of bills

-and inside the drawers of which are:
  • 2 pill bottles
  • 1 jar of cream deodorant
  • 3 indescribable chrome and rubber art-deco "devices"
  • 1 gallon jug of anti-freeze
  • 1 pair yellow rubber gloves
  • 1 thick typewritten manuscript loosely bound in a folder

  • 1 shotgun effect
  • 1 crashbox for broken glass sounds
  • 1 recording of the "Overture to Die Fledermaus" as though a 78rpm record
  • 1 effect of 125 lbs of steak hitting the hall floor——or something equally absurd
  • 1 pounding effect in the hall
  • 1 Sound effect of a mob outside and below the terrace
