- 23 Feb 2008. At The Cannon Grange in Wilton, CT. Two silent films; "Pass the Gravy" with Max Davidson and Steamboat Bill, Jr., with Buster Keaton, both with my piano accompaniment.
- 6 Feb 2008. ReelClassicDVDs sells the Hal Roach silent film No Man's Law with my score.
- 14 Nov. 2007. First in a series of promotional ads I wrote for Classic Sportswear airs on WEBE-108 radio.
- 28 October, 2007. Prophetiae Sybillarum by Orlando Lasso is performed by the ProArte Singers in New Canaan, CT, with multimedia presentation I prepared from Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel frescoes.
- 13 Oct. 2007. "Tears of Darfur," for
SATB choir, is presented at AmeriCares 2007 Airlift Benefit. Superbly performed
by The ProArte Singers, Arthur Sjögren conducted. The
700 guests for this gala, held at Westchester Airport were treated to an
arrangement by Igor Stravinsky of "The
Star Spangled Banner" as the hangar doors opened and 60 AmeriCares employees
and guests boarded a plane bound for Mexico. After dinner, the 16 singers
and
three percussionists performed the world première of "Tears of
Darfur",
followed by three African songs.
- 14 Oct 2007. At Wilton Library's "Sound of Silents" film series, I accompanied
two classic films, first "Two Tars" (1928) with Laurel and Hardy, then "The
Kid Brother," (1927) starring Harold Lloyd.
- 5 Oct 2007. ReelClassicDVD distributes three silent classic filmss with my piano scores: Robinson Crusoe (1927), The Mystery of Dead Man's Isle (1915) and Lindbergh's Flight and Return (1927).
- 23 June 2007. For the Wilton Library, I gave a lecture, third in a series
highlighting their CD collection, on "The Rise and Fall of Verismo Opera,"
illustrated by photos and historic recordings.
- May, 2007: Ethan Winer's Crescent production of Cello Masterclass I directed, featuring Benard Greenhouse is distributed and available through the University of Nevada and Sharmusic.com.
- April, 2007: Lenny Stea and I cut a CD for the Templeton Foundation: Purpose and Power in Retirement: New Opportunities for Meaning and Significance by Harold G. Koenig, M.D., with me narrating most of its 7-hour running time. Now distributed by Learn Out Loud.
- 31 December, 2006. My letter to the editor on 'what to call someone from Connecticut' is published in The New York Times. Several letters follow in response (may need to subscribe to see the link).
- 21 May 2006, "The Regret of the Ranee in the Hall of Peacocks" is performed by Jennifer Cece Bellon, soprano and Michael Kahn, contrabass solo, at the Unitarian Society of New Haven, Hamden, CT; sponsored by the Connecticut Composers
- 8 April 2006. Duane and Printz and I deliver the first "The Rise and Fall of Verismo" at Klavierhaus in New York City for Teatro Grattacielo's I Camerati.

- I have begun to post a modest collection of Alterocca-Terni postcards
from Leoncavallo's opera Zazà (1900), taken from the world
première with Rosina
Storchio and Sammarco.
- The libretto to Marschner's Der Templer und Die Jüdin now has links to
MP3 files from a terrific live performance.
- The libretto to Marschner's Der Vampyr is (finally!) on line in German, as well as in English and Spanish.
